BLS Instructor Course
This 7 hour blended learning course provides instructor training in accordance with the American Heart Association guidelines. The CPR BLS Heartsaver Instructor Course is taught in a blended learning format. To become an AHA instructor, candidates must complete the online portion, https://shopcpr.heart.org/bls-instructor-essentials-online followed by the hands on session. There are 4 steps to become an AHA instructor 1 Be accepted by an AHA Training Center TC by completing an Instructor Candidate Application. This application will be provided at the hands on session, 2 Have a current AHA BLS Provider card and be proficient in all skills for that discipline, 3 Successfully complete the CPR BLS Heartsaver Instructor Course, including both online and hands on session, 4 Be successfully monitored teaching with 6 months after completing the CPR BLS Heartsaver Instructor Course. Instructor candidates are not required to have a Heartsaver course completion card. The e course is self paced, available 24 hours day, and takes approximately 1 hour to complete. You must successfully complete the online portion before you can attend the hands on session. A Certificate of Completion is awarded to the student after successfully finishing the online module. Students must print the certificate of completion from the online portion for entry into the hands on session. Students must also bring a copy of their current BLS Provider card and a photo ID for entry into the classroom. All fees must be paid before the date of service. No Cash
